Adam Engle is the Director of Member Services at BZBI. His goal is to help all members – new, old, and future – to have fulfilling experiences and build meaningful communities. Inquiries about new memberships should be directed to Adam, as well as questions about current memberships. Adam works with synagogue leadership, Board members, committee chairs, and volunteers to develop programming and processes to make BZBI as welcoming and engaging as we can. If you have an interest or skill in developing social programming to attract new members, welcoming members new and old, celebrating the milestones of all our members, truly building our kahal (congregation) and enriching our kehilla (community), contact Adam.
Adam has an MBA in Finance from Hofstra University, and is currently a student at the William Davidson Graduate School of Jewish Education at the Jewish Theological Seminary. He is working towards a Masters of Arts in Jewish Education with a concentration in Informal and Community Education. He has taught Hebrew School, Hebrew High School, and in Adult Education settings.
His family (that is, his wife Ellen and their son Seth) were members of BZBI before moving to South Jersey. Adam is a member of Temple Beth Sholom in Cherry Hill, where he serves on the Ritual and School Committees and is a regular prayer leader, Gabbai, and Torah reader.
